Don’t Bend, Don’t Break

They took over at their own 32 with 4:52 remaining in the game and down by 10 points. They drove 61 yards to the Whitewater 7 for a FG attempt. But they took 3:28 off the clock. When the field goal veered left, the game was essentially over.
For the Warhawks’ part, they too only had two possessions over 40 yards in this defensive struggle. The Warhawks drives of 80 and 62 yards occurred in their last two possessions of the first half.
